About Dean
I am a semi-retired professional with a long history of career accomplishments, I have a BS in Financial Administration from Michigan State University (and I truly bleed Green & White)….. In addition to a number of other “past lives”, I am a trained Machinist, a trained Home Inspector, and a licensed Realtor in the State of California. Kay and I are the owners of Marvelous Desert Homes, Inc. doing business under the brokerage of HomeSmart Professionals in Palm Desert. I have a “can do” attitude, I am conscientious and I can figure out how to fix most anything, if I can’t fix it I can find the person who can. I have owned and operated a number of businesses over the years. I will keep a sharp eye on your property and communicate to you any potential problems that may come up while your home is under our care. I am available and qualified to oversee any and all of your contractors and advise you on the status of their work.

I am a Real Estate professional and enjoy living the desert lifestyle full time and enjoy the beautiful desert with my husband Dean. I have lived most of my life in Southern California and have owned 3 different rental properties in the Palm Springs and Palm Desert communities over an 11 year period including one at Monterey Country Club before becoming a full time resident. I understand the challenges of leaving my vacation home empty and hoping my neighbors and rental agents would watch over these properties while I was away. Unfortunately, more than once I returned to my home only to be shocked with disasters that could have been avoided. I saw a need for a service that would eliminate that uneasy feeling and confirm that my valuable investment was in good condition and ready for my return.
In addition to being a full time Realtor here in the desert, I hold a certificate from the Interior Design Institute of Newport Beach California, a certification as a Professional Home Stager & Re-Designer from the Home Staging Resource in San Diego and and have worked for 25 years as a professional in the convention industry.
